"THE STREAM" a new film from Tom Cowan


 "The Stream" 



A mix of thoughts about the passage of time - prompted by the passage


of water running under our house and how in time, before and after,


people would experience the stream in different and parallel ways.


Hence the subtitle: "Maybe in a Thousand Years".


Not far below this fireplace runs a river.

    Tom, when I first visited you in 1960s there was a stream running through your house in Glebe or Balmain, and now you live in Bondi with a stream running through that house. What is it with you and streams running through your houses Tom?
    And now I'm at Tammer's house and his stream almost runs under his house but not quite.
