Eyeless in Gaza, images from the net.
Eyeless in Gaza... Footnotes: I wanted to leave these images up clear of any text. My friend Richard suggested we should acknowledge the sources so I've made a big effort to track them down out of respect for the incredible job they do, and especially for their courage, working in the dangerous zones where so many aid workers and journalists have lost their lives. But some are not credited on the pages of publications I drew them from. Here's a list I've just completed, numbered from the image No.1 at top of page down to the final one, No.9 1. Hey Peter, thanks so much for creating this for me. Nice to see these photos out and about again. Thank you to people who have commented - anonymous and non-anonymous.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right Vicky. I just like to know who's who and what's what. And after all this blog has been going for two years now, surely everyone on the email notification list knows everyone else?
ReplyDeleteMaybe not.
I myself realised you have to choose a drop down choice for your name. Slowly I will work it all out.
DeleteYes, great images ! Here is Vicky's website too, which has not been updated since 2015, but has some of her great "early work" ! http://vickymousoulis.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill. Yes .. 2015 .. deary me. Maybe I should look into that. But you know my pace.
DeleteI'm 'late to the party', but I've always liked Vicky's photomontages and abstract imagery. She once also had a page on 500px with a great range of work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that link Bill, I've added it to her page.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter
DeleteSome great explorations here Vicky. Like good art, they draw me in for multiple viewings, each time triggering something slightly different, causing me to enjoy and wonder...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate that and your responses to the photos. Cheers
DeleteFor David:
ReplyDeleteVicky has found her 500PX site which she says she has neglected:
